At 7 months Penny...

• Is 25.5in (90%) and 15lbs (37%)!
• Sleeps 9pm - 8:30am - Dream feeds at 11pm and sleeps straight through the night!
• Sleeps in her big girl crib in the girls' room!  
• Crawls everywhere! And she's fast! She likes to chase the broom when I sweep.
• Drinks 4-5 formula bottles a day.
• Sits up on he own.
• LOVES to play with her sister. Lucy has figured out she's a playmate and LOVES it!
• Is the happiest baby ever! LOVE to smile and giggle!
• Pulls up on everything to stand. She is very strong and is starting to cruise a little bit... Oh, no!

• Loves to listen to music.
• Said her first word!! "Da-da!" Daddy was ecstatic!
• Eats EVERYTHING! She has such a good appetite. She loves salmon! Ha!
• Love to jump in her bouncy seat. She thinks its hilarious!
• Loves to be outside!
• Love to be in the pool :-) 
• Has 2 teeth!!
• Fits into 6mo outfits! 

• Still fits in size 1 shoes!
• Is wearing size 2 diapers.

• Is the prettiest, smartest, happiest, friendliest, most loving baby in the world!! Just like her sister :-)

Did you know that...

I have still yet to take pictures of my new living room? And that I have still not charged my camera battery? Go me... Blerg.

Penny is 7 months old today? And that she is crawling, pulling up, and saying "dada?"

I'm obsessed with my iPhone 4? Especially the fun photo apps that you can get...

I've been tracking my calorie intake and exersise daily and I should be losing a lot of weight really fast... But I'm not? Trying to figure that one out,  something is outta whack. I'll let ya know what they figure out.

Lucy can count to 6 in English? And 4 in Spanish? And 3 in Chinese? :)

Oh, and that she can say hello in Spanish (Hola)? And Chinese (Ni hao)? And Powhatan (Wingapo)? <- She learned that one from Pocahontas! Its pretty funny when she goes up to other kids at the park and says "Hola!" "Ni hao!" or "Wingapo!" and they just stare at her. Ha!

My birthday month is September? 

Or that I'm going to do a giveaway A WEEK in September to celebrate?

Welcome to the SECOND "What's in Your Fridge Friday?" I absolutely LOOOVED peeking around in your fridges last week. It totally satisfied my nosey-ness for the week. So, I think I'm in a food rut. My fridge looks way too similar to last week. I guess we like what we like! Ha! My favorite comment last week was, "you guys sure are a thirsty bunch!" Haha! Yes, we like our liquids :-)

Colors, Colors EVERYWHERE!

So I'm trying to decide on a color for the walls of the new bathroom. Wontcha help me?? Its a black and white bathroom: black cabinets, black & white tile floor, white vanity top, white tub... You get the picture. I was thinking like a french blue for the walls, but when I went to look, I found other options too! Wouldn't ya know... Anyway, dear friends, what do you like? I realize I'm asking you to use your imagination on this one (no pictures yet), but I know you can do it! You can do anything ;-)

NANNY STARTED A BLOG!

My darling baby cousin, and my girls' fantastic nanny, Kate, has started a blog! She is going to  be sharing all the fun time she has with my babies. I love that you guys love "What's in Your Fridge, Friday?" That cracks me up! I am so nosey... HA!

Well, I am happy to report that the living room is finished!! YIPEE! I will post some pics tomorrow. My camera battery is dead. I know, I know... I very happy to have that project behind me. But, we diving right back into it with the bathroom remodel that starts this week!!! YAY! I'm super excited to have the bathroom all new and shiney!!

I have before pictures... And I'll, obvi, take after pictures. You know for a little before and after exposé :)

Hubs kindly reminded of a fun little fact this weekend... Lets for one moment reflect on the fact that I have NOT been pregnant for 7 months. This is a new record for me. HAHAAHA!

Whatcha got in there?

So, I was visiting a friend the other day and I realized that every time I go to someone's (close friends or family, only... not randoms! ha!) house the first thing I do is look in their fridge. Not because I'm hungry... Just because I want to see what they've got in there! I guess I'm nosy :)

Anyway, it got me thinking about a little something fun I wanted to do on the ol' blog.

Going Nuts...

I am being driven batty by this construction in my house. And this is just a MINOR project compared to the MAJOR addition we are going to be doing in a bit. UGH. Sorry, my dear friends... I will be back full force very soon!

Right now, I'm going to go dodge the guy in stilts, who is painting my new ceiling, and try to get to the front door... We shall see how that goes!

A BIG Mess and a Winner

Why does my living room look like this, you ask? Perhaps because my 60+ year old lath and plaster ceiling was falling in. Neat. This was just at the beginning of the day... the ENTIRE ceiling is gone now. Nightmare. But at least I'll have a new and shiny ceiling (hopefully) tomorrow!

Update.

Thank you all for your comments and emails of encouragement and understanding over the anxiety I was feeling over that over-whelming question of to move or not to move... Well, after some serious soul searching and a realistic look at the (gulp) money, we made our decision and we're stickin' to it!

We are staying put! YAY!!! I love our house :) Its just getting a wee bit to small as our family gets bigger. So what do ya do?? Expand, my dears... expand. Now, I am no architect and I don't not pretend to be, but I have spoken to one and we are going to have plans drawn. I wanted to put my ideas in tangible form to share with all of you, because I'm that excited!!! So here you go! *Note, these are not actual plans... Just me playin. But its close to what were gonna do :)

Baby's Food

It has been a while since I posted a recipe for my favorite kitchen companion... Beaba's BabyCook! But since little Miss Penny has entered the exciting world of baby food and the BabyCook is once again a permanent fixture on my counter top, I thought it was time. As you know, I don't really cook with recipes, so please excuse my "measurements."

Creamy Cheesey Broccoli

                2 Handfuls of Broccoli Florets (I use organic frozen broccoli from Whole Foods)
                1 Handful of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
                1 Pat of Butter
                Salt and Pepper to Taste

Put the appropriate amount of water in the BabyCook (to the "3" line for frozen veggies). Put the broccoli florets in the steaming basket and let steam. This will take about 12 minutes. When the cooking light goes off, take the steam basket out of the BabyCook and pour the "Steam water" in to a little container, you will need this in a minute. Pour the steamed broccoli into the blender basket and add the cheese, butter, and salt & pepper. Begin to blend adding the "steam water" a little at a time until you get the desired consistency. Let cool and serve to your baby.

Anxiety...
